In the period 2007-2009, while in Bulgaria per year, house prices increased on average by about 40% annually, in Luxembourg, the value of real estate declined. Only at the end of 2009 and, in the little Duchy of housing began to rise. A low interest loan (2.27%) only led more customers to proceed with the purchase of an apartment.

In the second quarter of this year house prices have risen by 2.12% over the first three months of 2011 and, while the annual increase is 6.73%. Currently square meter is traded against 4000 EUR.

The volume of sales in the period April to June rose by 8.5% compared to the first three months of 2011.

In October, the capital of the duchy entered the ranking of consulting firm LaSalle of the most popular cities in Europe, took sixth place.
